Hello! I'm Mary Marsh, a passionate makeup artist based in the New Jersey/New York City area. From a young age, I was absolutely captivated by visual arts, and that passion has guided my journey marked by creativity and a pursuit of excellence.

Early on in my childhood, my artistic talent was recognized by my parents; this was met with excitement, encouragement, and most importantly: support. They immediately found an art teacher for me, who directed my artistry into the style of western naturalism. This helped me train my eyes & hands to create a replica of the image in front of me, as well as an understanding of color theory & the application of light & depth more effortlessly in my work. This quickly learned skill lead me to receive multiple awards for my paintings, thus setting the stage for a future in a creative field.

At 19 years old, I began my venture into makeup artistry, working part-time for MAC Cosmetics. This initial step ignited a career that has seen me navigate various artistry and management roles within the esteemed MAC family, all while concurrently pursuing a higher education.

In 2019, I proudly earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Studies from Montclair State University. This academic achievement not only deepened my understanding of the fashion industry but also imparted invaluable insights into the corporate business world.

One of the recently crowning moments of my career was being selected as one of four makeup artists to support world-renowned designer, Archana Kochhar for her New York Fashion Week: Spring/Summer24 debut. This incredible opportunity propelled my work into the spotlight, garnering recognition in numerous prestigious publications, including Time Magazine of India. My work can also be seen on the cover page of Know Magazine, as well as a long-running billboard in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, solidifying my presence in the industry.

While my initial focus in makeup is based on bridal and special event makeup, my horizons have expanded to encompass a diverse array of makeup artistry, from film and print to stage, editorial, runway, and men’s grooming.

My dedication to my clients goes beyond the makeup chair. Creating a professional, fun, and comfortable environment is my foremost priority, and I am beyond dedicated to maintaining a safe space for all my clients, regardless of their age, race, gender, religion, etc.
